Since beginning his career in 2003, Matt has closed over 500 real estate transactions totaling over $400 Million. He consistently ranks as one of the top agents in Rhode Island for sales volume and has been recognized by Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate. Matt attributes his success to his passion for all aspects of real estate.
His experience encompasses a wide scope within the real estate industry, from multi-million-dollar residential sales to commercial and investment properties. He has a depth of knowledge and years of strategic oversight in new construction development, condo conversions, marine and dockominium sales, and 1031 exchanges for clients in both RI and MA.
Matt started Hogan Associates with Leslie Hogan in 2009. As the principal broker and co-owner of the company, Matt’s guidance, leadership and industry expertise has helped Hogan Associates reach over $1B in sales. Hogan Associates stands strong at 36 agents and growing with offices in Newport and Middletown.
In addition to his real estate career, Matt is active and connected in the Aquidneck Island community. He is the founder of Project ReGive, a non-profit that collects unwanted holiday toys and redistributes them throughout the year with the help of local charities. He also serves on the board of the Fort Adams Trust and is a member of the Boston chapter of Entrepreneurial Organization International.
