Tom Rao

Real estate runs in the Rao family. In fact, Tom Rao’s first summer job was working at a family-owned parking lot – a property that later became the site of the Providence Place Mall! In 1987 he became a full-time Realtor. Since then, he’s helped hundreds of Rhode Islanders “find their way home.”

Tom grew up in Providence and built his business there, but he never forgot his childhood summers in the City by the Sea. When the time was right, he moved himself and his business to Newport and has never looked back.

Before joining Hogan Associates, Tom worked with ReMax where he won numerous awards for integrity and high achievement. He’s a tireless worker and never gives up. As a result, he has an extensive network of friends and customers across the state.

When he’s not working, Tom takes the time to give back volunteering at Meals on Wheels, supporting the Children’s Miracle Network and donating blood on a regular basis.
