Bailey's Beach is to the Cliff Walk what the Pot of Gold is to the rainbow: the great, good thing at the very end.  As you round the last bend of Newport's most scenic promenade, Bailey's stretches before you like a great sandy oasis.  The extremely exclusive club is home to Newport's summer glitterati, but as any local will tell you, the east end of Bailey's is open to the public.  There's no parking for this little beach which is why a summer cottage within walking distance is the way to go.
